ஹார்ட்கிரேவின் திராவிட இயக்கம்

 

ஹார்ட்கிரேவின் திராவிட இயக்கம் என்பதிலிருந்து...

மொழிவாரி மாநிலங்கள் பிரச்னை தீவிரமானபோது தென்பகுதிக்கு தட்சிண பிரதேசம் என்ற சிந்தனை முன்வைக்கப்பட்டது. கடுமையான எதிர்ப்பை கண்டவுடன் அச்சிந்தனை கைவிடப்பட்டு மொழிவாரி மாநிலங்கள் என்பது 1956ல் உறுதியாயின. இது குறித்து The Dravidian Movement எழுதிய Robert L Hardgrave Jr இவ்வாறு அதை திக- பெரியார் எதிர்கொண்டதை குறிப்பிடுகிறார்.

மேற்கண்ட ஒன்றுபட்ட தென்னிந்தியா- தட்சிண பிரதேசம் வேண்டாம் அது தமிழர்களை மூழ்கடித்துவிடும் என பெரியார் அவர்கள் விட்ட எச்சரிக்கைக்கு ஆதாரமாக ஹார்ட்கிரேவ் ஹிந்து பிப் 2, 1956யைக் காட்டுகிறார்.

“ In regard to dravidasthan, the DK issued a statement saying that in view of the fact that peoples of Kerala and Mysore were indifferent to Dravidasthan, those in tamilnad would have to be content with tamilnad as Dravida Nad. Naicker indicated that the door would be left open for all Dravidians to Join in a united Dravidasthan at some future day if it was so desired "

மேற்கண்ட செய்திக்கு ஹார்ட்கிரேவ் ஹிந்து ஜூன் 22, 1956 யைக் காட்டுகிறார். அய்க்கிய திராவிடஸ்தானுக்கு கதவுகள் திறந்தே உள்ளன என பெரியார் குறிப்பிடுவதைப் பார்க்கிறோம். ’அகண்ட திராவிடஸ்தான்’ இன்னும் கனவா எனத் தெரியவில்லை.

தோழர் பி ஆர் (ராமமூர்த்தி) அவர்கள் இவ்வாறு தனது எதிர்வினையை வெளிப்படுத்தியிருந்தார்.

ஒன்றுபட்ட சிபிஅய் மாநில செயலர் தோழர் எம் ஆர் வெங்கட்ராமன் இவ்வாறு கருத்து தெரிவித்திருந்தார்

The movement of Dravidasthan ignores the reality as well as the people's aspirations of linguistic states in a resurgent, united India, and is disruptive and anti democratic. Such slogan has to be rejected by our people in the very interests of Tamil nad and India"

வடக்கு மார்வாடி முதலாளிகள் ஆட்சியாளர்களுக்கு துணையாக என்று பேசியபோது திராவிட திக திமுகவிற்கு கோவை மில் முதலாளிகள் துணையாக என்ற பதில் குற்றச் சாட்டு வந்தது. அதற்கு அண்ணா அவர்கள் தெரிவித்த மறுப்புரையை ஹார்ட்கிரேவ் பதிவிட்டுள்ளார்

“It is easy to secure the support of the capitalists and Industrialists to our cause by giving them a blank cheque. They will be only too willing to support us because of their natural desire to step into shoes of their Nort Indian counterparts. But we are not here to oblige Dravidain capitalism of any sort, be it North Indian or Dravidian"

இங்குள்ள முதலாளிகளின் ஆதரவை பெறுவது எளிது- ஆனால் எங்கள் நோக்கம் திராவிட முதலாளித்துவம் அல்ல என அண்ணா அவர்கள் பதில் இருப்பதைப் பார்க்கிறோம். இப்போது இந்திய யூனியன் அரசாங்கம் ’5 டிரில்லியன் எகானமி’ எனப் பேசினால் தமிழ்நாடு மாநில அரசாங்கம் ’ஒரு டிரில்லியன் எகானமி’ எனப் பேசுவதை எப்படி புரிந்து கொள்வது என்கிற கேள்வி எழுகிறது.
